"You must be shapeless, formless, like water."

--Morihei Ueshiba

I believe Somatic learning (body/mind) differs from acquiring cognitive knowledge. My idea of 'Embodied' learning is education that goes straight into one's neurobiology, creating a deep awareness and consciousness that supports new action. This type of learning awakens one's deeper human capacity for greater choice in how you wish to appear in the world.

My work focuses on helping to disorganize one's limiting conditioned historical shape, supporting the individual to re-shape themselves into a more relaxed, integrated and aligned being.

I became involved in Martial Arts at the age of 15. Over my 40 plus years of training, I began to view the practice less as a method of self-defense and more as a mechanism for personal transformation.

Although I hold multiple black belts, when people ask if I can teach them self-defense, I say yes, but I teach defense against the limiting, conditioned self.

Self is the only friend; self is the only enemy.

InBodied Mindfulness consulting, workshops, seminars, and courses support positive transformation in the arenas of Parenting, Relationships, Education and Business.
